Employment/Volunteer Opportunities Available
Volunteers Wanted: The Credit Union is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee. The Supervisory Committee acts as the Credit Union's internal auditor. Duties include auditing the Credit Union's operations, performing periodic audits of assets and liabilities, and insuring regulatory compliance. Those with an accounting and/or finance background are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers must have good credit history and a clear criminal history. Credit Union Member Service Representative Wanted
Responsibilties include in-office, drive-thru and telephone member service transactions and cross-selling financial products in a professional work setting. Maintaining accuracy and prompt member service is a must.
Qualified applicants will meet the following requirements:
- PRIOR CASH HANDLING EXPERIENCE
- Computer experience (Microsoft Office and e-mail)
- High school diploma (college helpful)
- Great verbal communication skills
- Clear credit history
- Prior banking or Credit Union experience helpful, but not required
The position includes:
- Hourly pay of up to $14.00, depending on experience.
- Paid vacation (after 6-months)
- Paid federal holidays (after 3-months)
- 401(k) plan with match and immediate vesting (after 6-months)
- Incentive plan
The core work schedule is approximately 25 hours per week with no weekends.
Scheduling flexibility is required to help cover other employee vacation days.
- Monday & Wednesday 9:50 am to 6:30 pm
- Friday 9:30 am to 7:15 pm.
