Accuracy

LM Federal strives to maintain accurate and complete information about you and your accounts. If you ever feel that an account statement is incomplete or inaccurate, please notify us according to the method described on your account statement. We will investigate your concerns and promptly correct any inaccuracies.

Security

Keeping your financial information secure is our most important responsibility. Employees of LM Federal are authorized to use member data for authorized business purposes only. LM Federal maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. For security reasons, personal identification numbers (PIN) used to access Touch Tone Teller, ATM or Visa Check Cards, online banking and other services are not accessible to LM Federal employees.

Sharing

We may disclose non-public personal information to companies that perform services on behalf of LM Federal Credit Union, or to other financial service providers, such as insurance companies, with whom we have joint marketing agreements. Information provided to companies with whom we have joint marketing agreements does not include your social security number or Credit Union account number(s). Companies that perform services on our behalf may include consumer reporting agencies, check printers, checking account verification services, data processing, online services, audio response or account statement generation. LM Federal is highly selective when choosing business partners that provide our members’ service. These companies act on our behalf and are obligated to keep any information we share with them confidential. You should be aware that there may be occasions when we are legally required to disclose information about you to other parties to comply with U.S. tax laws, court orders, subpoenas, fraud prevention, or federal regulatory compliance.

Your Privacy Choices Under certain circumstances federal laws give you the right to instruct financial companies not to share some of your information (called “opting out”). For information shared with firms with which we have joint marketing agreements, you may opt out of a direct marketing of products or services by LM Federal business partners with whom you do not have a prior business relationship. You may do this by mailing or calling LM Federal.
