The Passing of Vivian Bold

We are sorry to let everyone know that Vivian Bold passed away on March 25th.

Vivian started working at the Credit Union in 1962 as a part-time employee and retired in 1999.
She was a volunteer member of the Board of Director and as our Treasurer until her retirement from the board in June of 2019.

Without Vivian the Credit Union would not be here today. She was the only employee at times during the 1960’s when the Credit Union’s total assets fell to only $60,000. She handled the conversion of paper member account records to a computerized system in 1982. Prior to 1982 Vivian and her staff would manually maintain member records on paper ledger cards. Today the Credit Union has $42 million in assets and over 3,600 members. Thanks to Vivian for her 57 years of Credit Union service! She is survived by her son Mark Bold and her daughter Michelle Williams.

A public memorial service will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at a later date.
Online condolences may be made at:
